Collective Action Grants

Working together for lasting change

Evanston Cradle to Career’s Collective Action Grants support collaboration to improve the well-being and success of children, youth, and families in Evanston.

The grants invest in seven cross-sector collectives, bringing community partners together to address shared priorities and develop solutions that no single organization could achieve alone.

Seven collectives. A shared vision.

Our collectives draw from EC2C’s network of more than 40 community organizations, institutions, and agencies:

  • Community Connect Collective

  • Wraparound/Health Collective

  • Environmental Justice Collective

  • Housing Collective

  • Evanston Early Childhood Collective

  • Workforce Collective

  • Out-of-School Time Collective

Each collective brings together partners with shared interests and expertise to identify and address the policies, practices, gaps, and barriers that affect children and families throughout Evanston.

Supporting collective action

Collective Action Grants provide resources to build relationships, strengthen coordination, develop shared strategies, and put partner-identified priorities into action. Through this collaboration, partners can reduce duplication, make better use of community resources, and create lasting improvements in the systems that support children and families.

Together, we are advancing our shared vision: By age 23, all Evanston young adults are on the path to leading satisfying and productive lives.
